Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

A hardworking, professional and reliable Maintenance Tech/Handyman will be handy and have the keen ability to clean and maintain property and small equipment, make small repairs/touch ups as needed and maintain a safe and clean shop environment.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Working knowledge of basic elements of TPM and Good Manufacturing Practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Make small repairs/touch ups as needed
  • Applies a wide variety of methods, procedures & techniques to layout, install, align, repair, overhaul, & maintain various types of machines encompassing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems & operation principles
  • Performs preventive maintenance on small mechanical systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration
  • Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts, equipment, and machinery
  • Examines parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
  • Observes and tests the operation of small machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices
  • Records repairs, maintenance, parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary
  • Conducts daily site inspections to ensure cleanliness and neatness of facility
  • Submits and follows up on work orders in a consistent and timely basis
  • Ensures the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution. Some examples are Arc Flash/Shock Hazard safety, confined space entry, LOTO, hazardous materials, hand tool safe use, etc

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous vocational certificate/training
  • 5 years of high-speed industrial experience
  • PDM (predictive maintenance) skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems

ASME Code Welders

Trident Process Systems, a fabrication company that specializes in the engineering, design, and fabrication of ASME Code process equipment for the energy industry, now has immediate positions available for ASME Code and pipe welders.
2 + years experience ASME Vessel Weld preferred. In person weld test must be completed and passed prior to hire. Must be able to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.
