In person weld test must be completed and passed prior to hire. Must be able to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.

JOB OBJECTIVE:
1) Support all Team members in safe work practices.
2) The Safety Manager will implement and monitor the Company’s safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
3) Develop relationships both inside and outside of the Company that promote safety. (i.e. Contractors directly and indirectly related to operations)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Create a culture of Safety for our people by maintaining the company’s safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) rules and regulations.
• Plan and implement programs to train managers, supervisors and employees in work site safety practices, injury prevention, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other safety related items.
• Inspects Company facilities and projects to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
• Handle all OSHA related issues such as inspections, yearly reports, job site posters, citations, hearings, etc. Performs field safety audits to ensure compliance with all OSHA, State, Local and company safety rules and regulations.
• Compile the monthly safety tracking data report for management. Produces other safety reports as needed. Audit as required.
• Manages all incidents and reporting from first notification to close out (including transitional return to work, reviewing workman’s compensation claims, etc.) and performs investigations to determine cause and possible preventive measures for future work of a similar nature.
• Make corrective action recommendations to upper management concerning safety and health issues that may affect the company.
• Purchase required safety equipment for company personnel.
• Compile and submit incident and yearly reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Conduct employee safety orientation training programs and new hire safety orientations.
• Maintain safety and accident records, files, training, Activity Hazard Reports (AHA’s) and safety tracking reports
• Assist the Investigation of vehicle damage incidents and prepare required reports.
• Organize yearly Safety Meetings (Accident Review Board) and maintain employee training logs and coordinate training needs for all safety related issues.
• Maintain and administer safety related tracking and paperwork.
• Maintain and administer the Company SDS manuals.
• Maintain safety manual, emergency management plan and loss control manual.
• Attend safety related seminars, meetings, forums, etc. as needed.
• Manage Fleet – including but not limited to Registrations, IFTA, GPS, USDOT/FMCSA etc.
• Manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises. First Aid stations, AEDs, Drug Program, Fire Prevention/Safety/Elevator, Shop Janitorial products
• Maintain compliance platforms: iSN, Veriforce One, TPS Alert, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position takes place in a general manufacturing environment. Work is generally 20% office, 70% shop and 10% training.
WORK HOURS:
Standard work hours will be 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. However, must be available after hours in an emergency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 Years experience in an HSE role supporting the Oil and Gas industry and/or Metal Fabrication is preferred but not required.
• A strong understanding of OSHA standards is required.
• Experience with ISN, Veriforce One, TPS Alert is preferred.

Job Summary
Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and field locations. Stocks received material, as well as, completed products and assemblies from in-house production. Picks materials, components and end products and delivers them to Production or shipping. Prepares component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.
