Trident Process Systems, a fabrication company that specializes in the engineering, design, and fabrication of ASME Code process equipment for the energy industry, now has immediate positions available for ASME Code and pipe welders. 2+ years experience ASME Vessel Weld preferred. In person weld test must be completed and passed prior to hire. Must be able to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.
Required Skills
- 2+ years experience preferred
- Must be able to run all structural code welds
- Know how to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels and tape measures
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Understand how to perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with ASME and ISO quality specifications
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to wear all required PPE
- Subject to climbing/squatting/bending/kneeling
- Heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time

Perform the assembly of both piping skids and skidded vessel packages Job Duties:
- Assemble skidded units while working off of assembly and P&ID drawings
- Assemble both welded and threaded spool piping on skids
- Follow torque and thread engagement specs
- Measure, cut and thread pipe to hit required overall dimensions
- Maintain clean and safe work space
- Complete necessary documentation required for each completed assembly
- Not a controlled work environment (no A/C)
Required Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Able to operate air tools – Impacts, torque wrenches, etc.
- Ability to read blue prints, follow instructions, and read tape measure.
- Proactiveness and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Eventually be able to weld minor structural I-Beam and angle iron bracing

Overall Job Purpose:
Operate commercial / industrial sandblasting equipment as needed to production / facilities equipment, systems and fabricated materials in the oil and gas industry. Works from departmental controlled checklists when performing any planned activities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities with Minimal Assistance:
• Under supervision, assist in the planned daily activities.
• Use thorough understanding of departmental operating procedures as well as job task procedures in selecting and operating sandblasting equipment.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble equipment, parts and components as directed by department supervisor.
• Operate lifting and moving devices in order to move equipment or materials so that areas to be painted are accessible.
• Manage time to ensure proper curing of coatings will be accomplished as efficiently as possible.
• Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within job scope.
• Responsible for all actions / responsibilities as required by the departmental supervisor.
• Interact and cooperate with all fellow team members to essentially achieve our goal of providing equipment that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.
Essential Job Qualifications:
• 2 – 4 years of relevant paint experience required in a manufacturing environment, preferably vessels and pipe.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to complete required documentation and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
Education:
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
• Industrial Abrasive/ Sand Blaster: 2 years (Preferred)
